| If you are building a new home, we highly recommend a Pre- closing inspection before you close. The builder sometimes calls the final walk-around with you an inspection. It is not an inspection. We inspect over 400 items which takes about 2 hours. The builders sometimes say that you will not need an inspection because they inspect it during the walk-around, this truly is not the case. If you have closed already, it's not too late. Have us inspect it before 11 months is up. That way you can give a list of concerns to the builder. The state allows 2 years on new construction, so you can still notify the builder up to 23 months after closing. |
